Instagram rolls out the pin post feature: understand how this can benefit your business

You've probably noticed that Instagram has brought another new feature: pinning posts to the top of your profile page, similar to what already happens on Twitter, for example.
It's worth noting that Instagram is a strong ally for professional profiles looking to generate leads and increase brand awareness. Its popularity is the magnet that attracts companies interested in using social media to spread their message.

In this way, the new feature can be useful for both personal and business accounts that want to highlight some piece of information right at the top of their post grid. In a world where things move so fast and need to be practical, keeping content featured is an opportunity to support both of these goals, while also showcasing your three best works. It's also possible to highlight products and services being promoted during a specific period.
How to apply it in practice?

To get started, follow these steps:
Before that, you need to update the app in your app store. This applies to both Android and iOS devices, ok?

– Choose the post you want to pin;
– Tap the three dots located on the right side of the screen, at the top of the photo;
– Tap “Pin to your profile”.

Note: If you want to swap out any of the pinned posts, just repeat the steps on a fourth post, and the oldest pinned post will automatically be replaced.

Now that you know how to pin a post and how it can help bring relevance to your business, put it into practice and get the best results.
