Exactly 7 years ago, Twitter, the world's biggest microblogging service, was born

Twitter was founded in 2006 by Jack Dorsey (software developer), Evan Williams (founder of Blogger) and Biz Stone (also behind Blogger). Dorsey's original idea was for exchanging corporate messages, but it ended up becoming a space for fun and sharing information in 140 characters.

From 2006 until today, now with 200 million users, there have been many changes, from layout updates to privacy terms.
